Elevator updates - stay logged in and get recommended

After some great feedback from our recent survey we've made some updates to the site:
Now you can stay logged in
Due to popular demand we have implemented persistent login on Elevator - so now you shouldn't get booted out between sessions.
Next time you click on a link from an Elevator email or Job Alert you will be asked to login, but if you click the "remember me" tick box the site will remember you next time so you won't have to log in again.
We hope this makes the site easier to use - let us know if you experience any problems.
Get recommended
In preparation for the launch of our freelance services (another key request from the survey) we have now enabled Recommendations on freelance profiles.
Recommendations are a key way to back up the claims you make in your freelance bio and can inspire confidence in prospective employers. We've also tweaked the Network Points, so that you will now be awarded 15 points for every review you receive and every review you write, plus we've increased the amount of points you receive for referring other people to the site. The more Network Points you have the higher up you will appear in the freelance listings.
Now is the time to take a few minutes to review your freelance profile and make sure it is up to date, and to think about inviting a few people to recommend you. If you're inviting others to join the site don't forget to use your unique referral code (shown below the menu on the right hand side of the site) in order to earn more points.
We hope you like the changes! As ever, let us know if you encounter any problems at all.
