Consultancy to investigate and document creative campaigning tactics (online and offline) SOGI-Campaigns is a resource hub to support activists for sexual and gender diversities to develop public campaigning strategies As part of our work, we provide information about campaigning tactics, with a focus on creative and “low-key” tactics, over large-scale mass mobilisations. As a global network, we pay particular attention to tactics developed and applied in the global South and East and tactics that can be implemented on low budgets. We are looking for a consultant who will

  • Update and expand the existing articles with recent examples (especially from the Global South and East and from Minority groups) and developments (especially when the tactic relies on technology)
  • Develop the data base with additional documentations of tactics, as suggested by Consultant and agreed by project lead

More information on the SOGI-Campaigns project and on existing documentation of tactics at (website is being updated – new version up soon) Fees are based on output on the following basis: 50€ for each article update 100€ for each original article We are looking for a native English speaker, with a solid campaigning experience and a capacity to document and synthesize creative tactics in an accessible and engaging language. Good writing skills and a curious mind are needed for this assignment. Timeline: The update of the existing articles should happen ASAP (ideally by mid-March) Documentation of additional tactics will be commissioned on an ongoing basis. Consultant will work from home.
