Local Implementation Lead (Two Year FTC)  London, SE1 (office/field based, covering England and Wales)  £43,000 per annum Want to change the face of third sector funding? Do you believe its time funders flexed their muscles and invested more in long-term systemic change to help the third sector develop and thrive for the long term? We’re looking for a bold, innovative thinker to join our new and expanding Development directorate, as Local Implementation Lead. Join us in our aim to reach far beyond traditional grant funding, shaping and delivering strategies that ensure charities and local communities thrive for the long-term. The role will require proven experience of developing and implementing community focussed projects from inception through to final delivery. Successful candidates will be entrepreneurial and agile in their approach, and able to develop effective strategic partnerships across both the public and private sectors. If you’re dynamic, motivated, ready for a new challenge and have a heart for what we do, we want to hear from you. The role is a 2-year fixed term contract. Job share (with a joint application), part time or flexible working would be considered for the right person. The post is predominantly London-based, but with the opportunity of flexibility 1 or 2 days per week. Frequent travel will be required across England and Wales.Local Implementation LeadResponsible for leading work in four locations across England and Wales to take a ‘whole systems approach’ to how services for those dealing with complex social issues can be designed, delivered and resourced – with a focus upon the unique contribution of small and local charities. This role will require the convening of local service providers and stakeholders and proposing and leading all parties in working together to meet common priorities in delivering services as effectively as possible.
