ONE teams in Abuja, Berlin, Brussels, Johannesburg, London, New York, Ottawa, Paris and Washington D.C., work to educate and lobby governments to save and improve millions of lives.   ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Employees of ONE work in a collaborative and creative environment towards a common goal of ending extreme poverty and preventable disease.  The Senior Campaigns Manager will lead the delivery of impactful and innovative campaigns and actions that engage new and existing members and demonstrate grassroots support for ONE’s policy goals and mission. They will be responsible for driving our growth in membership and campaigning impact through delivering a range of global and market specific campaigns working with the wider marketing team and country teams. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and enthusiastic seasoned campaigner, skilled in creating and managing digital and offline campaigns for an international audience. They will be creative, passionate about movement building and aware of the latest trends in social change campaigns.This is a full-time position reporting to the Global Campaigns Director, based in our London office. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

  • Play a lead role in the development and project management of ONE’s online and offline campaigns, including coordinating day-to-day workflow within the marketing campaigns team and across the organization
  • Work closely with ONE’s country, policy and other marketing teams to create compelling actions and member journeys which increase both action rates and depth of engagement
  • Create campaign materials that are accurate, on brand, and which effectively engage and communicate our message to their target audience
  • Lead the production of member communications working with country campaign managers, the wider marketing team and others where required
  • Work with designers and content managers to prepare and publish creative assets in support of campaigns
  • Help develop and manage ONE’s new member acquisition and retention strategies
  • Produce detailed analysis and evaluation of campaign results, understand and respond to performance data, run tests and put results and lessons into practice.
  • Manage multiple projects and delegate work effectively
  • Lead, direct, and manage staff to complete projects to a high degree of quality, efficacy, and efficiency
  • Work with external partners to develop campaigns that complement ONE’s ongoing activities and mission
  • Research costs for projects and manage project-related budgets including responsibility for identifying the necessary components and managing expenditures within the approved budget
  • Keep on top of relevant innovations in creative campaigns and marketing
  • Any other duties as appropriate to the role

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • At least 7 years of experience developing and managing digital and offline campaigns
  • 2-3 years of experience in a management capacity
  • Experience of successfully project managing complex campaigns
  • Excellent writing and editing competencies, with proven experience writing campaign focused emails and compelling contents for an international audience
  • Working knowledge of digital advocacy systems such as ActionKit and Content Management Systems such as WordPress
  • Experience in campaign evaluation and reporting
  • Experience working with external partners, including in Africa
  • Strong creative and storytelling skills
  • Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and determine priority projects/assignments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and independently
  • Flexibility and resourcefulness to respond to a fast-paced work environment with shifting deadlines

  • Ability to work and live in the UK is required

LANGUAGE SKILLS Fluency in English required. Proficiency in French or German a plus TRAVEL Travel up to 5% international.
