Communications Manager (Campaign)
The role This is a brand new role which will drive campaign messaging and activity across earned and owned channels, to reach and engage target audiences and help achieve campaign objectives. This role will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of campaign communications and for ensuring an integrated approach across communications and marketing activity, working as part of the wider comms and marketing department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering clear, engaging, results-led campaign communications and experience of managing campaign activities. They will have previously worked in a campaigning organisation or agency delivering high quality, successful campaign communications. Key Responsibilities include:
- - Develop and deliver effective, multichannel communications activity and plans that support campaign objectives and raise awareness of campaign activities. This includes drafting campaign communications project plans and reporting on success.
- - Work closely with the Head of Campaign Strategy and campaign teams to collaboratively manage campaign actions and activity which, in addition to meeting campaign specific targets, keeps existing supporters motivated whilst at the same time attracting new supporters.
- - Work closely with policy and public affairs colleagues to support the delivery of impactful policy and public affairs activity and amplify our messages to stakeholders.
- - Influence and engage external partners and supporters to build and deliver relationships that make a real difference to the campaign.
The Person We are looking for a first-class communicator, who has significant campaigns experience. The Communications Manager (Campaign) will have excellent negotiating and influencing skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders and external contacts. We are looking for a proactive and experienced Communications Manager (Campaign) with demonstrable experience of planning, developing and implementing multichannel campaign communications to a range of audiences and stakeholders.
