Global Campaign Manager circa £35,000 per annumLondon Permanent Global Campaign Manager – Global Rabies Elimination This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of an International NGO working to help eliminate rabies globally by 2030. To do this, you will use public mobilisation, policy and advocacy initiatives to drive changes in government policy on canine animal welfare as well as support our team to work with corporations in the Pharmaceutical, veterinarian, dog food manufacturers and dog registration industry to drive through the initiative. Part of a busy and dynamic team, you will project manage the implementation and delivery of the Animals in Communities global campaign. You will communicate our positions and messages to external audiences including public fora, the media, political, economic and other actors. You will work closely UN Organisations, the European Union and others such as the World Health Organisation to influence policy to achieve our campaign promise that will help eliminate rabies by 2030. You will work with all our offices globally to develop inspiring and innovative projects which realise the campaign strategy. Important will be the ability to collaborate with colleagues and guarantee project goals are delivered in a timely and effective manner. This will mean you will travel globally in this position as this is a truly global campaign. In addition, you will act as a central point of contact for organisational activity and provide co-ordination and support to global offices to ensure consistent and efficient project execution. We will also look to you to develop relationships with a network of key external stakeholders and build links to further our cause. This is a fantastic opportunity to not only positively affect canine animal welfare worldwide but also positively effect the humanitarian efforts to eliminate rabies. - Experience working with governments and public organisations to influence policy change
- An experienced and highly motivated campaigner with a record of managing projects to deliver specific outcomes
- Experience in the design and delivery of impactful (preferably global) campaigns
- An effective project manager, who is comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, controlling budgets and meeting deadlines.
- An excellent communicator with first class analytical and decision-making skills too.
- Although management is not part of this position you will be an effective leader able to support campaign managers based in country offices to deliver this campaign.
- Knowledge of animal welfare or conservation and environmental issues would be an advantage but not essential.
